Bob and Doug McKenzie in “take off”, ‘eh hoser!

In the video “take off”, ‘eh hoser!, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of hilarious Canadian actors who are responsible for “Great White North”, a sketch which was included on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob’s part is played by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is performed by Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously made originally as a skit to both satisfy and makes jokes about non sensical Canadian content laws, the brothers turned into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the United States. The brothers went on to become the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
