TAT), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hysterical Canadian family members who hosted “Great White North”, a program which was featured on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it was aired on CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s character is created by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is created by Dave Thomas. The bit was created originally as a joke to both please and make fun of non sensical Canadian content laws, the siblings transformed into a pop culture success in both Canada and the United States. The brothers went on to become the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
