Bob and Doug McKenzie in “Take Off” Official Video

In the video “Take Off” Official Video, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of made up Canadian comedians who are responsible for “Great White North”, a show which was introduced on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it got sent to CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s character is created by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is performed by comic Dave Thomas. Although created originally as an idea to both fulfill and make fun of silly Canadian content rules, the duo transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The characters later became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
