Hugo Tae – Clique – Who Is TakeOff Mizzy, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of imaginaryfunny Canadian siblings who created “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was broadcast on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. Bob’s partThe character Bob is created by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. The bit was created originally as a skit to both satisfy and mock dumb Canadian content policies, the pair transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the United States. The pair became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
