Bob’s part is acted by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is brought to life by Dave Thomas. It was made originally as a sketch to both satisfy and laugh about stupid Canadian content legislation, the two grew up to be a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
