In the video TattooNOWTV – Drunk Stuntmen perform the 12 Days of Christmas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of imaginaryfunny Canadian family members who are responsible for “Great White North”, a segment which was shown on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it aired by CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob McKenzie is played by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is acted by actor Dave Thomas. The bit was created originally as filler to both please and make fun of dumb Canadian content statutes, the pair grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and America. The pair soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
