Bob and Doug McKenzie in TEASER – opening title credits “Strange’r Brew’d Things”

In the video TEASER – opening title credits “Strange’r Brew’d Things”, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of odd Canadian family members who starred in “Great White North”, a improv which was televised on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it was featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. Bob’s part is brought to life by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. Although made originally as filler to both please and mock silly Canadian content demands, the brothers grew up to be a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the United States. The pair soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
