Bob and Doug McKenzie in Tex and Edna Boil – Organ Emporium

In the video Tex and Edna Boil – Organ Emporium, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of imaginaryfunny Canadian family members who hosted “Great White North”, a program which was broadcast on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it was featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob McKenzie is performed by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is created by Dave Thomas. Despite created originally as fluff to both fulfill and mock legal Canadian content legislation, the siblings transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the United States. The two became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
