Bob and Doug McKenzie in The 12 Days

In the video The 12 Days, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of odd Canadian siblings who were featured in “Great White North”, a sketch which was broadcast on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in the year 1980. The character Bob McKenzie is acted by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is acted by Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously brought to life originally as fluff to both satisfy and laugh at legal Canadian content statutes, the two transformed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and America. The McKenzie siblings enetually would become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
