Bob and Doug McKenzie in The 12 Days of Christmas : Cheech’s Frosted Christmas Dusted Nugz

In the video The 12 Days of Christmas : Cheech’s Frosted Christmas Dusted Nugz, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of fictional Canadian siblings who were featured in “Great White North”, a skit which was introduced on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it was featured on CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob McKenzie is brought to life by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is performed by Dave Thomas. Although brought to life originally as filler to both fulfill and laugh about non sensical Canadian content guidelines, the duo turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the USA. The two soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
