A poorly-made (intentionally) parody of a classic Christmas song, done by both of us.
This is itself a parody of a parody. A Canadian duo named Bob & Doug McKenzie did a parody of the same song on their “Great White North” album, which is often played as part of Christmas music. I heard it the other day and decided to parody it for my Video Art class.
This was my self-directed project. It underwent several rewrites, but as always I’m no stranger to last-minute decisions. I think Bob & Doug’s parody was better, though.
Unlike the previous projects, this was edited in KineMaster. I did most of the filming last-minute too, as the 518 just had its first snowstorm yesterday.
I enjoyed this semester and the funny thing is, I’m done with finals already! Not joking. Happy Holidays, to all of you!
