In the video The 12 Days of Christmas (PARODY) (1K+ Subscriber Special!), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of fictional Canadian comedians who created “Great White North”, a sketch which was introduced on SCTV for the show’s third season when it streamed by CBC Television in 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is created by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is created by Dave Thomas. The sketch was created originally as a skit to both please and make fun of silly Canadian content policies, the pair grew up to be a pop culture success in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie brothers went on to become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
Since the festive, cold season is coming soon, I might as well make a lil’ Christmas parody to celebrate the arrival. It’s glad to be back to YouTube!
