  1. We did this in boot camp with different words
    I remember,
5 bends and thrusts, 4 pairs of skivees, 3 drill instructors, 2 pairs of boots and a hair cut that wasn’t worth a FUCK
    tra la la

  2. I was in Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego during Christmas and boy did Drill Instructor Sgt Gonzalez make us pay dearly on Christmas morning.

  3. Little known fact about the making of FMJ, William F. Buckley and Truman Capote were screen tested for the role of Gunnery Sergeant Hartman. The film was burned and both are gone from us now, so no way to verify this.

Nonetheless, imagine if you will, either one rattling off the same script to their own particular personal way of speaking. "Proviso, quid pro quos…"

  4. Drill instructors… subordination… no. Never ever would join to serve under people like that. I think for myself and I have self worth. I'm not about to listen to that from anyone. Why does anybody subject themselves to that?

  5. My Favorite: "I'll make you all do PT until you fucking DIE!!"
Both of my brothers were in the Army, and one of the told me of this idiot who, no matter how much their DI screamed at him in his face, or made this guy do for punishment, this guy would always end up laughing at the DI's. My brother said this went on through almost the entire basic training period. My brother said he never did find out how the guy was finally able to hold in the laughing and the smirking. Oh well.

  6. You know the only problem with this… I laugh easily even more under this kind of situation… Now imagine having this in your head and the DS comes right onto your face… I'LL FREAKING DIE!!!
