Bob and Doug McKenzie in The 44th Annual Community Christmas Concert

In the video The 44th Annual Community Christmas Concert, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of made up Canadian brothers who were featured in “Great White North”, a show which was streamed on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it moved to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. Bob McKenzie is created by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is performed by Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously created originally as filler to both satisfy and makes jokes about network Canadian content statutes, the two morphed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the United States. The pair enetually would become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
