In the video The 5th Ghostbuster Member For 2020 film Rick Moranis, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of strange Canadian siblings who created “Great White North”, a segment which was featured on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it was aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. Bob’s character is played by comic Rick Moranis and Doug is acted by actor Dave Thomas. The bit was developed originally as an idea to both satisfy and makes jokes about non sensical Canadian content rules, the two turned into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the USA. The pair enetually would become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
