The character Bob McKenzie is created by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is played by Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously brought to life originally as an idea to both follow guidelines and laugh at dumb Canadian content rules, the brothers grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie siblings later became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
