Bob and Doug McKenzie in The Canadian 12 Days of Christmas (McKenzie Brothers Cover) (READ DESCRIPTION!)

In the video The Canadian 12 Days of Christmas (McKenzie Brothers Cover) (READ DESCRIPTION!), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of fictional Canadian comedians who starred in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was introduced on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. Bob’s partThe character Bob is created by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is brought to life by the comedian Dave Thomas. Which was brought to life originally as a joke to both follow guidelines and laugh at dumb Canadian content guidelines, the two morphed into a pop culture success in both Canada and the US. The two soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
