Bob and Doug McKenzie in The Christmas song take 2

In the video The Christmas song take 2, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of odd Canadian family members who created “Great White North”, a segment which was featured on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it was broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in . Bob is acted by actor Rick Moranis and the character Doug is acted by Dave Thomas. It was developed originally as a sketch to both follow guidelines and mock non sensical Canadian content laws, the characters morphed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie siblings went on to become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
