Bob and Doug McKenzie in The Dave Thomas Comedy Show: Bully

In the video The Dave Thomas Comedy Show: Bully, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of hysterical Canadian actors who hosted “Great White North”, a show which was introduced on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it was broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob McKenzie is created by actor Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is created by comic Dave Thomas. Despite brought to life originally as an idea to both please and laugh at silly Canadian content guidelines, the two became a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the US. The characters soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
