In the video The Dave Thomas Comedy Show: Jack Palance, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of odd Canadian siblings who can been seen in “Great White North”, a show which was broadcast on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it was featured on CBC Television in the eighties. Bob’s partThe character Bob is performed by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is brought to life by Dave Thomas. Which was created originally as filler to both follow guidelines and make fun of legal Canadian content legislation, the characters turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The characters later became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
