In the video The Dave Thomas Comedy Show- Mad Bad Dad Rap, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of imaginaryfunny Canadian brothers who starred in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was aired on second city television for the show’s third season when it was featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob is acted by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is performed by comic Dave Thomas. Which was created originally as filler to both please and make fun of network Canadian content statutes, the brothers morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The brothers enetually would become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
