Bob and Doug McKenzie in The Dave Thomas Story

In the video The Dave Thomas Story, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hysterical Canadian actors who created “Great White North”, a sketch which was introduced on second city television for the show’s most watched season when it got sold to CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob McKenzie is created by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is created by comic Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as filler to both please and mock legal Canadian content policies, the two turned into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and America. The characters went on to become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
