Bob and Doug McKenzie in The Dustin and Cassie Show: Episode 32 Part 2

In the video The Dustin and Cassie Show: Episode 32 Part 2, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of strange Canadian family members who are responsible for “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was broadcast on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it got sold to CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob’s character is played by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is performed by comic Dave Thomas. The bit was made originally as a sketch to both please and laugh about network Canadian content laws, the pair turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and across the border. The pair went on to become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
