Bob and Doug McKenzie in “The Fishin’ Musician” Part 1

In the video “The Fishin’ Musician” Part 1, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of odd Canadian actors who created “Great White North”, a show which was introduced on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob’s character is created by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is brought to life by the comedian Dave Thomas. Although developed originally as a joke to both fulfill and makes jokes about stupid Canadian content statutes, the siblings turned into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the US. The pair went on to become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
