Bob and Doug McKenzie in “The Fishin’ Musician” Part 2

In the video “The Fishin’ Musician” Part 2, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of fictional Canadian family members who starred in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was introduced on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it was featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. The character Bob McKenzie is created by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is played by actor Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously born originally as an idea to both please and makes jokes about annoying Canadian content statutes, the duo transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and America. The brothers soon became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
