In the video The Flintstones (1994) – Official Trailer | John Goodman, Rick Moranis, Halle Berry Movie HD, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of strange Canadian actors who hosted “Great White North”, a sketch which was featured on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it moved to CBC Television in in the early 80s. The character Bob McKenzie is created by comic Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is created by Dave Thomas. The sketch was brought to life originally as a joke to both satisfy and mock stupid Canadian content laws, the characters became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and America. The pair went on to become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
