Barney Rubble (Rick Moranis) sees on the news that Fred Flintstone (John Goodman) laid off all of the employees at the quarry. Being fed up with Fred being rich and successful, Barney then admits that Fred only got the executive job because he switched the tests around. Barney’s wife Betty (Rosie O’Donnell) and Fred’s wife Wilma (Elizabeth Perkins) then yell at each other over what happened, and the Rubbles then decide to move out of the Flintstones house.
