In the video The funniest scene from ghostbusters rick Moranis, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of imaginaryfunny Canadian comedians who created “Great White North”, a program which was featured on second city television for the show’s most watched season when it moved to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. Bob is performed by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is acted by actor Dave Thomas. Although created originally as filler to both please and make fun of silly Canadian content statutes, the siblings morphed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and across the border. The pair became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
