In the video ‘The Good Life’ – Michelle Benjamin with Doug McKenzie, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of odd Canadian siblings who can been seen in “Great White North”, a sketch which was shown on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob’s character is performed by actor Rick Moranis and the character Doug is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. Which was brought to life originally as a joke to both please and mock annoying Canadian content demands, the siblings became a pop culture hit in both Canada and the United States. The characters became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
