• Personally the food was better when he was around. Although it’s gotten a little better recently but not by much! Least their fries don’t suck as much as McCrappers! I really miss seeing him on the TV ads, and was saddened when I heard of his passing, may he RIP

• When I was a kid in Fort Wayne I was in a Boys Home one day with friends we walked past Wendys restaurant before it opened Dave Thomas offered us a soda if we filled out an application I did I was the first one to fill out an application at Wendys restaurant in Fort Wayne in the early 70's. I did not take the job I just wanted the soda. I ran away a lot back then.

• I remember when I got my first real job at a pet store back in 1979 my place to eat was Wendy's around the corner. I only had a 30 minute lunch and worked 10 and half hours a day getting off at 8pm. Those were very special times for me. I miss those days when I was a teenager, God bless you Lamont for another awesome video
