• When I came to Canada from Europe with my family as an immigrant teenager in the early 80's, I learned how to be Canadian by watching Bob and Doug's show The Great White North. I learned a lot from these guys: how to talk to girls, how to dress for the cold, how to smoke cigarettes, drink beer and eat bacon. Those were the days...

• the last words spoken , its great and its WHITE . could u imagine the blowback they would get if they said that in today's world ? they would immediately be cancelled and canada would be viewed as a country with a bunch of racist white guys .

• can we all just admit that canada is simply the 51st state of the usa . there is almost literally not difference between canadians and americans . we share the same history on the same continent as well .

• They are awesome actors. Rick moranis made ghost busters 40 times more funny. Dave Thomas killed me in the film Rat Race.

• Then you fast forward 30 years alcohol and tobacco are considered hard drugs. lol. Google it. Labatts and Molsin were worried about the Cheech and Chong movement (for obvious reasons) and created these two drunks. Totally not the same vibe. Cannabis finally won (soft drug) . Glad Canadian culture changed on October 17, 2018. Take off drunks, I mean hosers.
