Bob and Doug McKenzie in The Hoser – “Snow”

In the video The Hoser – “Snow”, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of hysterical Canadian brothers who starred in “Great White North”, a show which was shown on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. The character Bob McKenzie is created by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is created by comic Dave Thomas. The sketch was born originally as filler to both follow guidelines and laugh at dumb Canadian content legislation, the siblings turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie siblings enetually would become the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
