Bob and Doug McKenzie in The Infamous ‘Dave Thomas Circle’

In the video The Infamous ‘Dave Thomas Circle’, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of hysterical Canadian comedians who starred in “Great White North”, a skit which was televised on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. Bob is brought to life by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is created by the comedian Dave Thomas. It was brought to life originally as fluff to both please and laugh about silly Canadian content legislation, the brothers grew up to be a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and across the border. The characters later became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
