In the video The Malaka Podcast – Episode 138 – Rick Moranis, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of imaginaryfunny Canadian comedians who can been seen in “Great White North”, a sketch which was streamed on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it aired by CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s part is created by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is performed by comic Dave Thomas. The sketch was created originally as a skit to both please and makes jokes about dumb Canadian content rules, the pair grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie brothers soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
