In the video The McKenzie Brothers In Space, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of fictional Canadian comedians who can been seen in “Great White North”, a show which was aired on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it got sent to CBC Television in the eighties. Bob is performed by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is performed by Dave Thomas. Although made originally as a joke to both please and laugh at non sensical Canadian content policies, the characters became a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the US. The pair enetually would become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
