Bob and Doug McKenzie in The Movie Doctor Reviews – Strange Brew

In the video The Movie Doctor Reviews – Strange Brew, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of odd Canadian family members who can been seen in “Great White North”, a skit which was included on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most watched season when it got sent to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. The character Bob McKenzie is played by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is performed by actor Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was born originally as a joke to both follow guidelines and make fun of silly Canadian content rules, the brothers morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The brothers soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
