  1. When Toronto was cool. So sad to see how boring, generic and talentless it has become. This is what happens when you replace the population with 3rd world refugees.

  2. I have that album. My fave track is the ingredients song: "gum acacia, hydrogenated oil, potato starch, bring to a boil". I still remember the lyrics. Rip Wendy. Rockin in the afterlife. We remember. Wrecking the set.. brilliant.

  3. I saw the Plasmatics when I was age 15 or 16 in Westchester NY. I wasn't supposed to be there but I had a fake ID, lol. Around 1980. Memories. She had on taped black garbage bags and tore them off to expose her tits with electricians tape over her nipples while she chain sawed a junk car and everything else on stage before a fake cop ran her off, it was so hilarious and awesome, especially back then in a small club! I'm also a huge SCTV fan but don't remember this one (I probably was in bootcamp when it aired in 81). Now I'm close to 60 and very happy to watch this, thanks for posting!

  4. I was born and raised in the US but lived close to both Vancouver and Victoria BC; most of the TV stations we got were from Canada (before cable anyway). I love seeing these old clips that I remember from when they first ran- they bring me right back to how my life was when I was just starting out on my own.
