In the video The Pork & Chop Show – Joao Francisco & Manuel Martelo Bob & Doug McKenzie Tribute, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hilarious Canadian comedians who hosted “Great White North”, a sketch which was introduced on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it got sent to CBC Television in 1980. Bob is performed by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is performed by actor Dave Thomas. It was born originally as a skit to both follow guidelines and mock legal Canadian content guidelines, the duo grew up to be a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the US. The pair became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
