Bob and Doug McKenzie in The Rick Moranis Dance

In the video The Rick Moranis Dance, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of strange Canadian family members who can been seen in “Great White North”, a program which was introduced on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob is performed by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is created by the comedian Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was brought to life originally as a sketch to both follow guidelines and makes jokes about silly Canadian content policies, the pair grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie siblings became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
