Following Fred (John Goodman) and Barney’s (Rick Moranis) explosive argument at Cavern on the Green, tensions escalate, leading to an unexpected turn of events—the Rubbles decide to pack up and move out of the Flintstones’ house.

The Flintstones (1994): Make way for the modern Stone Age family as they make the jump from animated favorites to live-action heroes! There’s trouble brewing in Bedrock: a test mix-up has made Fred Flintstone (John Goodman) a vice president at Slate & Company, and now an evil executive (Kyle MacLachlan) and his sinister secretary (Halle Berry) are plotting to use Fred as the fall guy in an embezzlement scheme. Luckily for Fred, his best friend Barney Rubble (Rick Moranis), wife Wilma (Elizabeth Perkins) and her best friend Betty (Rosie O’Donnell) always have the big guy’s back in this yabba-dabba-doo of an adventure! Elizabeth Taylor co-stars in the “Steven Spielrock” production filled with dino-sized special effects and classic Flintstones humor.

  1. I wonder how it would have gone if Barney didn’t switch tests with Fred. While Barney is very much a blue collar good ol boy he is much smarter than Fred, especially from a business standpoint so I wonder if he would have let the sudden wealth go to his head like it did with Fred.
