Bob’s character is brought to life by comic Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is played by the comedian Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously developed originally as fluff to both please and laugh about dumb Canadian content legislation, the two grew up to be a pop culture success in both Canada and America. The pair soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
