In the video The Scene That Ended I Dream of Jeannie, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of fictional Canadian actors who can been seen in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was aired on SCTV for the show’s third season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in 1980. Bob’s part is created by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is created by actor Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as a joke to both follow guidelines and laugh about stupid Canadian content rules, the brothers transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The brothers became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

Interesting fact, Bill Daley's Major Healy is an Army officer. Growing up, I mostly watched the series on a black and white television. I noticed that Major Healey wore the same Engineering insignia on his uniform that my father, an Army officer, wore on his, but I just figured the Air Force also had an Engineer Corps. I was very surprised, the first time I ever saw an episode in color, to see Makor Healey was wearing Army Green in contrast to Major Nelson's Air Force blue. I have always wondered about the creative decision to have him be in the Army. At the time, all astronauts were either in the Air Force, Navy, or Marine Corps, or they were civilian pilots. In real life, it was the 1980s before a soldier ever became an astronaut. I do not recall Healey's branch of service ever being specifically mentioned or being a plot element. I have no idea why they did that. Maybe wardrobe only had one Air Force uniform and an Army one.

Barbara Eden, not just one of the most beautiful women ever in Hollywood but in history! There is a I Love Lucy episode with her,she was remarkably beautiful! Just remember guys she never had ridiculous piercings, crappy tattoos or a ridiculously large backside being pushed as beautiful.

This was not very good. For 9m subs I thought there would be some better production and some footage from the show. Also as someone else said, Season one did have a theme song though it was different than the rest of the seriers… and the hayden rourke bit… that WAS the actors name, it even shows up in the opening credits.
Anyone ever figure out why Healy’s uniform was a different color. The Air Force only had one color of class A uniforms.
