Bob’s character is acted by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is brought to life by Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously created originally as a joke to both follow guidelines and make fun of annoying Canadian content policies, the two grew up to be a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and America. The two later became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
