Bob and Doug McKenzie in The Twelve Days of Christmas 2019 Edition

In the video The Twelve Days of Christmas 2019 Edition, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of imaginaryfunny Canadian brothers who created “Great White North”, a sketch which was televised on SCTV for the show’s third season when it was broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob’s character is acted by comic Rick Moranis and Doug is performed by Dave Thomas. Although born originally as fluff to both satisfy and make fun of annoying Canadian content policies, the brothers morphed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and across the border. The pair later became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
