Bob and Doug McKenzie in The Twelve Days of Rehab

In the video The Twelve Days of Rehab, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of hilarious Canadian actors who were featured in “Great White North”, a improv which was broadcast on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it moved to CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob’s character is performed by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is created by comic Dave Thomas. Despite born originally as a skit to both satisfy and makes jokes about silly Canadian content guidelines, the two transformed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and America. The McKenzie brothers enetually would become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
