Bob and Doug McKenzie in The Wild Life | Rick Moranis

In the video The Wild Life | Rick Moranis, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of fictional Canadian comedians who can been seen in “Great White North”, a skit which was featured on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it aired by CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is brought to life by Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is performed by actor Dave Thomas. Despite created originally as a sketch to both fulfill and makes jokes about network Canadian content statutes, the siblings grew up to be a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie siblings went on to become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
