In the video The Wild Life Trailer 1984, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of hysterical Canadian actors who can been seen in “Great White North”, a sketch which was featured on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it got sent to CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob’s part is created by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is played by Dave Thomas. Which was created originally as an idea to both fulfill and laugh at stupid Canadian content legislation, the pair turned into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie siblings went on to become the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

*Jim had his boombox & it was around the 11 minute mark, after the donut girl & the asshole cop hooked up in the scene prior.
I saw this movie WAY AFTER the song was released, heard the tune & I'z was all like, "what song is that?!"
I looked at the creds & sure enough Eddie VH did the score & pieced it together!

I was able to sneak in purchasing the Kino Lorber blu ray that was released today. I am pumped to watch this movie, and am actually shocked I did not hear about this one ever. Good thing distributors like Kino Lorber exist.
This movie is the reason Lea Thompson was cast in "Back To The Future". Also the reason Eric Stoltz was ORIGINALLY cast in BTTF.
