In the video These men attacked the old man but they didn’t know he was not alone there!, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of fictional Canadian brothers who hosted “Great White North”, a skit which was aired on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it got sold to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob’s character is played by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously made originally as a joke to both fulfill and mock network Canadian content rules, the pair transformed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
