Bob and Doug McKenzie in Things Rick Moranis is Against- Vol 1

In the video Things Rick Moranis is Against- Vol 1, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of fictional Canadian family members who can been seen in “Great White North”, a program which was aired on second city television for the show’s third season when it braodcast by CBC Television in the eighties. Bob’s character is acted by actor Rick Moranis and the character Doug is played by Dave Thomas. Although developed originally as an idea to both fulfill and laugh about annoying Canadian content demands, the two became a pop culture hit in both Canada and across the border. The pair enetually would become the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
