The first thing they said was that Carol’s last name was different than her maiden name and basically that proved she had been divorced. Seriously? If her husband had died she still would have had the same last name. It didn’t mean she was divorced. I don’t know of any widow who went back to using their maiden name. This is BS!

How does having a maiden name different from her pre-Brady name make her divorced? Whether divorced or widowed, she could still have the same name as her first husband. If anything, changing her last name back to her maiden name would signify divorce because she wants to remove any relationship from her first husband.
